| I make pens that are to be used, not just to sit around and be admired. |
| What I Do I produce handmade writing instruments and accessories from various types of wood, dyed veneers, some acrylics, and even solid surface (countertop) material. My product line includes pens, pencils, letter openers, magnifying glasses, pocket tools, penlights, bracelet helpers, perfume pens, and various styles of key rings - single, detachable, mini-pen, whistle, compartment / pill holder, mini-penlight. Each item I produce is basically a one - of - a - kind because there are no two pieces of wood exactly alike, even from the same board or tree. Each piece of wood is unique and is a "living" product. Even as small and thin as the wood in these items is, there is still some slight movement caused by the weather or conditions present. |
